Dr Kai Ismail completed his medical training at the University of Melbourne in 2011. He trained in general paediatrics at the Gold Coast University Hospital and Queensland Children’s Hospital. This includes broad paediatric experience in regional hospitals in Queensland and northern New South Wales. He also holds the academic titles of Honorary Adjunct Senior Lecturer and Academic Lecturer at Bond and Griffith University. He has a robust clinical research background at the Royal Children’s Hospital and Murdoch Children’s Research Institute in Melbourne. His achievements in this area include research article publications, and international oral presentations.
From newborns and toddlers to tweens and teens, he can provide care for children of all sizes. He has a particular interest in developmental and behavioural issues, as well as, paediatric acute care and neonatal medicine, where he has done extra time during his paediatric training. So, whether your paediatric patients need a regular paediatric check-up or more specialised medical care, he is ready with the experience and compassion to help them grow healthier.
Dr Kai Ismail practices holistic care with a family-centred approach, and he firmly believes that every child needs personalised clinical management with love and care.
