Queensland Paediatric Specialists has grown from a small clinic called Gold Coast Child Neurology established by Dr Harry Singh in Southport on the Gold Coast in 2011. His dream of expanding the clinic comes from a passion for providing the best possible care for children in all areas of Paediatrics and to have them located within one clinic for the convenience of the children and their parents.

Gold Coast Child Neurology moved from Benowa to Southport to the Premion Place Building in 2019 and became The Paediatric Synapse Clinic which started primarily as a Neurology clinic and serviced the needs of patients with a wide range of Neurology issues including Epilepsy, Autism spectrum disorders & ADHD related disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Neurodevelopmental issues, Tics & Tourette’s Syndrome, Functional Disorders, Neuromuscular conditions, Headaches & Migraines and Neurofibromatosis. The Paediatric Synapse Clinic was the first clinic to establish a comprehensive and private EEG service on the Gold Coast for Paediatric Patients.

Soon after moving from Benowa to Southport, the clinic expanded and was able to offer additional paediatric sub-specialty services such as General Paediatrics, Metabolic and Genetic, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Adult Neurology and Allied Health Services, in addition to the growing Neurology department.

The Paediatric Synapse Clinic name no longer catered for the growing sub-specialty services that the clinic provides and for the patients that often come from other parts of Queensland and interstate, therefore Queensland Paediatric Specialists was born.

The entire team at Queensland Paediatric Specialists, including our doctors, allied health professionals and administration staff all share Dr Singh’s passion for providing the best possible care for our paediatric patients and their families. We welcome you with open arms and ears and look forward to helping your children grow into the best little human being they can be.

The aim is to enhance the sub-speciality expertise locally and into other regional centres in Queensland and to offer a central provider for Paediatric sub-speciality & General Paediatric services.
