Paediatric Neurologist & Epileptologist

Dr. Sameer Dal is a highly experienced Paediatric neurologist and epileptologist with a specialized focus on neurological and epileptic disorders. After completing his general paediatrics training in India, he advanced his expertise through paediatric neurology training at prestigious institutions including the Royal Children’s Hospital (Melbourne), WestmeadChildren’s Hospital (Sydney), and John Hunter Children’s Hospital (Newcastle). Dr. Dal further honed his skills with specialized epilepsy fellowships, such as the George Gregan Foundation Epilepsy Fellowship and the Rats of Tobruk Epilepsy Fellowship.

In 2023, he was awarded the UCB Clinical Fellowship by the Epilepsy Society of Australia (ESA) and he also served as a research fellow at the Murdoch Clinical Research Institute in Melbourne. Currently, he works as a paediatric neurologist and epileptologist at Queensland Children’s Hospital in Brisbane, where his professional interests include genetic epilepsy, drug-refractory epilepsy, movement disorders, and epilepsy surgery.

Dr. Dal is an active member of several key organizations, including the Australia New Zealand Child Neurology Society (ANZCNS), Australian Epilepsy Society (ESA), International Child Neurology Association (ICNA), and the American Epilepsy Society (AES). He has also contributed to numerous research papers and chapters in Paediatric neurology books.
